VITA ALEXANDER LEKSCHA
The German recording producer initially completed his studies (B. Sc.) in "Physical Engineering with a focus on 'technical acoustics'" at the TU Berlin.
He also completed his studies (M. Mus.) of 'Recording Producing' in Berlin at the Berlin University of Arts, where his teachers were e. g. René Möller, Thorsten Weigelt, Christian Feldgen, Wolfgang Loos and Markus Mittermeyer.
He studied singing with Birgit Bauer-Rossaint and with Jochen Großmann and studied piano with Senka Brankovic, Sascha Konstantinova, Lucas Blondeel and with Gottlieb Wallisch.
Next to his job as a recording producer, Alexander Lekscha also sings in the extra chorus of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Additionally, he works as a conductor, composer, arranger, and private teacher for the piano and lessons in music theory.
Alexander Lekscha conducts an extensive concert career as a singer and cellist in leading concert halls in Germany. Konzerthaus Berlin, Berliner Philharmonie, Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Weimarhalle are just some of the stops of the young artist's previous concert career.
As a part of his studies, Alexander Lekscha worked as a recording producer at the NDR in Hamburg. Christoph von Dohnányi, Krzysztof Urbanski, Alan Gilbert, and Paul van Nevel are just a few of the important conductors of our time with whom Alexander Lekscha has already collaborated.
In 2018 Alexander Lekscha took over the recording line as producing engineer for his first CD recording of works by Iván Eröd and Johannes Brahms, performed by the Austrian pianist Senka Brankovic. The Album was released by the Austrian label Gramola.
Alexander Lekscha has been working as a freelance recording producer for the NDR in Hamburg since March 2019 and regularly records musical artists such as Albrecht Mayer, Eckardt Runge, Jacques Ammon, the Aris Quartet, Tabea Debus, Klaus Florian Vogt, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, Simone Kermes, David Geringas and the Elbphilharmonie Orchestra.
